Coming Up, Miranda Woollett exhibition 'Muted Undertones' Mark your calendar for the Opening; 6pm Wednesday 21 May
On now- 'Identity' by Samantha QiaoWatercolour artist Samantha Qiao has a love of Wellington's character architecture. In 'Identity', her first solo exhibition, she tells stories of people and their connections to the city's well known and most loved buildings. Samantha will be in the gallery to talk about her ideas and inspiration behind her paintings on Friday 25th Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th from 3pm to 5pm. Come in to meet her and see the exhibition. New Art
Iwen Yong has three beautiful new Wellington coastal scenes that highlight his skill in painting rockpools, including a stunning one metre square view from Breaker Bay. Also introducing Pulusi, a new artist for the gallery. Pulusi (his artist name) is Hutt Valley based and paints colourful scenes drawing inspiration from different artists and his imagination.

Thanks and I hope you can get in to see Samantha Qiao's exhibition. Her collection of wet on wet style watercolours makes for almost mystical dreamlike scenes and stories that celebrate landmarks Wellingtonians will instantly recognise.
