Four recognisable Wellington buildings from different eras are juxtaposed giving us the feel of the city, with the newest structure, a New World supermarket rising like a sun above all; dominating the scene, a modern temple. Each building was once new, from the 1880s, art deco, the 1960s and today, time passes and what was new becomes old, meanwhile the seeds of the future can be seen. Look closely at the French bread's paper bag, down the bottom in small letters 'Made in China'!
