A new painting created to represent the sold out 2013 exhibition Foxtrot Around the Piano. The original series comprised a progressive series of four large size canvas and diptychs telling stories of the characters who danced their way around a grand piano over the evening and over the years. This new work is a small reminder of this popular series and the viewer is asked to imagine what is happening. The dream like scenario, the allusion to another time (in the music sheet is the score to the Beatles song 'Yesterday') combine to give us as viewers room to create our own interpretations of this stylish and thoughtful artwork.
